A total of 2.5 lakh applicants of JEE Main will qualify for the JEE Advanced Exam, including 112,250 from the general category candidates of JEE Main, 25,000 from EWS category candidates of JEE Main, 67,500 from OBC-NCL category candidates of JEE Main, 37,500 from SC, and 18,750 from ST categories.

- Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur has officially declared the date of the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Advanced 2025. According to the official JEE Advanced 2025 Notification, the exam will be held on Sunday, May 18, 2025.
- The exam for JEE Advanced will consist of two mandatory exam papers, each of three hours duration. Paper 1 will be from 9:00 am to 12:00 noon, and Paper 2 will be held from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm.
