The National Testing Agency (NTA) has opened the online application form window for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Undergraduate Examination 2025, which will begin on February 7 and the last date for NEET UG 2025 application form has been fixed as March 7 at 11.50 pm. The NEET UG 2025 exam is scheduled by NTA to be held on May 4. The NTA has also released the updated information bulletin for NEET UG Exam 2025, revised exam pattern, and syllabus, which can be accessed on its official website neet.nta.nic.in.

NEET UG Exam Pattern 2025
NEET UG Exam Pattern 2025 consists of Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (Botany and Zoology). Candidates are informed by NTA that starting from NEET (UG)-2025 will revert to the pre-COVID-19 pattern as per the public notice dated 25 January 2025. The NEET UG Exam 2025 question paper will consist of 180 compulsory questions which candidates of NEET UG 2025 will have to solve in 180 minutes. These changes have been incorporated by the National Testing Agency in the NEET (UG)-2025 exam pattern.
The NEET UG Examination Pattern 2025 for admission in the Session 2025-26 is as follows:
NEET UG 2025 Entrance Examination will not include optional questions in Section B, reverting to the pre-Covid format. Candidates of NEET UG 2025 will have to answer 180 questions in all – 45 each in Physics and Chemistry and 90 in Biology.
Mode of Examination: Candidates are informed that the NEET Undergraduate Entrance Examination 2025 will be a single day single examination in pen and paper mode (Offline Mode) as conducted last year in 2024. (Refer to D.O. No. NMC/Secretary (2025)/01).
Duration of Examination: The duration of the NEET UG 2025 examination will be three (03) hours. Candidates with disabilities [physically unable to write] will be allowed by the exam conducting agency one hour extra time for the three hours (03:00 hrs) examinations, whether the candidate uses the facility of a scribe or not.
