There is no age limit for candidates to appear for the CUET (UG) Entrance Exam 2025. Candidates who have passed class 12th / equivalent examination or are appearing in 2025 can appear for the CUET Undergraduate Exam 2025. However, candidates of CUET UG 2025 must fulfill the age criteria (if any) of the university/institute/organization to which they are seeking admission.

CUET UG Eligibility Criteria 2025 Highlights
- Final board examination of the 10+2 system conducted by any recognised Central/State Board viz. Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi; Council for the Indian School Certificate Examination, New Delhi.
- Intermediate or two-year Pre-University examination conducted by a recognised Board/University.
- Final examination of the two-year course of the Joint Services Wing of the National Defence Academy.
- Senior Secondary School Examination conducted by the NIOS (National Institute of Open Schooling) with a minimum of five subjects.
- Any public school/board/university examination in India or any foreign country recognised by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) as equivalent to the 10+2 system.
- Higher Secondary Certificate Vocational Examination.
- Diploma of minimum 3 years duration recognized by AICTE or State Board of Technical Education.
- General Certificate Education (GCE) Examination (London/Cambridge/Sri Lanka) at Advanced (A) level.
- The Higher School Certificate Examination of the University of Cambridge or the International Baccalaureate Diploma from the International Baccalaureate Office in Geneva.
- Candidates who have passed class 12th (or equivalent) examination outside India or from a Board not specified above will have to submit a certificate from the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) certifying that the examination passed by them is equivalent to the class 12th examination.
- If the Class 12th exam is not a public exam, the candidate must first pass at least one public (Board or Pre-University) exam.
Year of Appearance in Qualifying Examination
The relevant conditions of the Universities/Institutes (as applicable) for the year of appearing in Class 12th/equivalent examination will apply. Candidates are required to ensure their eligibility criteria from the website of the respective Universities/Institutes.

For admission to universities through the CUET Undergraduate Exam 2025, the existing policies of the concerned University / Institution / Organization regarding quota, category, relaxation, reservation, merit, subject combination, preference, etc. will be applicable.
