Criterion A1 – JEE Advanced Eligibility Criteria 2025 (Performance in JEE (Main) 2025)

Candidates must be among the top 2,50,000 successful candidates (including all categories like UR, EWS, OBC, SC, and ST) in the B.E./B.Tech. paper (Paper I) of JEE (Main) 2025.

The percentage of different categories of candidates to be shortlisted is as follows: 10% for General-EWS Category Candidates, 27% for OBC-NCL Category Candidates, 15% for SC Category Candidates, 7.5% for ST Category Candidates, and the remaining 40.5% is open to all. Within each of these five categories, a 5% horizontal reservation in JEE Advanced 2025 is available for Divyang candidates.

Criterion A2 – JEE Advanced Eligibility Criteria 2025 Age Limit

Candidates of JEE Advanced 2025 should be born on or after 1 October 2000. SC, ST, and Divyang Category candidates are given a five-year relaxation in the age limit, i.e., these category candidates should be born on or after 1 October 1995.

Criterion A3 – JEE Advanced Eligibility Criteria 2025 Number of attempts

JAB has amended the eligibility criteria for JEE Advanced 2025 and reduced the number of attempts to two. In the previous notification, JAB had increased the number of attempts to three for the JEE Advanced 2025 exam. But, now the policy of the Number of Attempts has been changed.

A candidate can appear for the JEE (Advanced) entrance exam a maximum of two times in two consecutive years.

  1. Nope , nahi de skta sirf 2 attempts milte first attempt jish year me aapne boards diye and 1 uske baad wala ( 2025 ) ..aap 2026 me exam nhi de skte
